"A must for the knowledge based distributor. The future of distribution is in the selling on their knowledge and services."

Enlighten.Net, Inc. announces Net.Fax to help manage incoming faxes

Farmington, CT – 1 Jun 2008: Enlighten.Net, Inc. (ENI), a leading document management software provider announced today the release of Net.Fax, a simple fax distribution tool aimed at managing incoming faxes. Incoming faxes are automatically converted to a searchable PDF and stored in Net.Reports. Mimicking a file cabinet, the documents are stored in folders you create within Net.Scan.

Net.Fax is the latest offering in a suite of products designed to communicate and share knowledge across groups, departments, or the enterprise.

The challenge for many businesses today is how to capture, manage, organize, and share the information and knowledge contained in electronic and paper documents.

With Net.Fax, businesses can now easily distribute and keep track of incoming faxes. Retrieval is easy using the powerful search engine or by browsing through the electronic file cabinet.

“There are significant costs in producing, filing, handling, and retrieving paper documents,” said Jan Chapin, president of Enlighten.Net, Inc. “Net.Scan significantly reduces every day costs of filing and handling paper while providing easy retrieval through a powerful search engine. With all the floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and fires recently, many of our customers want a disaster recovery plan for their paper documents as well as electronic ones. A big bonus with Net.Scan is you have an automatic disaster recovery plan while eliminating your storage costs for paper. ”

“One of our goals when developing any system is to make it extremely easy to use. IT departments are busy. This product takes minutes to set up and won’t need on-going IT supervision,” said Ray Hrdy, CTO for ENI. “The best way to achieve the ROI on a software investment is to make the software intuitive so people use it. Net.Fax doesn’t require significant technical skills.
