PROBLEM SOLUTION We offer three levels of information security. First, when you purchase Enlighten.Net, you decide how many "publishers," and how many "navigation-only" users you will have. Publishers can post or "publish" information to your intranet. Navigation-only users can access and view information posted on Enlighten.Net, but do not have the ability to publish information to it. The second level of publishing control involves the "publishers" mentioned above. You can assign publishers defined areas in which they can post, edit documents, etc. That way, you maintain control over your intranet content. Only those people who should have the power to make changes to a specific area of your intranet will be able to do so. Our third level of information security control involves information access. Not only can you assign individuals specific areas of your intranet in which they can publish and edit, but you can similarly specify which intranet areas each employee can access and view. For example, if your managers are working on a project involving sensitive information, you can restrict access to that project's Enlighten.Net page to members of the management group.
